Fuel Pump Mounting:
VENOM recommends mounting this pump directly to the vehicle’s frame, as close to the fuel tank as possible. Billet mounting brackets available – part #FPB-001
Fuel Pump Plumbing:
Fuel adapters, available at any performance retailer are required to connect the pump inlet and outlet to the vehicle’s fuel lines – see diagram 1. for sizes.
VENOM recommends the use of a 60 micron pre-filter before the pump inlet and a 30 micron filter after the outlet.
Electrical Connection:
VENOM recommends the use of a 30 amp universal relay to properly install the positive (+) connection for this fuel pump. Relays are available at most automotive retailers and come with installation directions. A separate fuel pump activation switch or connection to a 12v key-on power source is required to control pump activation.
The fuel pump negative terminal (-) connects to a known good chassis ground or directly to the negative battery cable.
